First up, an actual useful tool. I have several of Softorino’s products and use them regularly, but if you have a one-off need to convert video or audio, use Softorino’s free web converter.
Reading Maps is just a fun way to revisit those classics you’ve read by following the actual geographical map of the travels of the characters. You can look at the whole journey in the book at once, with an animated ship traversing the path…
…or you can view the map step by step through the book.
Then there’s the Ephemera Society of America. Unlike you or me, some people go through life collecting the stuff that the rest of us throw away or at least have the decency to have stored in a trunk in the attic two generations ago and forgotten.
For example, Sheet Music Art from the Ragtime and Jazz Eras.
How cool is that?? The only thing that would make this cooler is if it had links to actual performances of these pieces. Hm…
Not only does the ESA have their own exhibits like the sheet music art — I challenge you to find the one on “graphic backsides” — they also provide you with even more rabbit holes to explore, with links to other organizations and their collections as well as sources to track down your favorite ephemera.
