Perfection

Someone posted this on Bluesky last week, and I was struck by it.

Here’s what struck me: Can you imagine being at this performance live? These are people — live human beings — making this perfect sound!!

We often forget that humans are creating the music that we listen to. It’s just a streaming thing, right? We can turn it on whenever and listen to everything. But I would guess that 99.7% of us never visualize humans actually playing the instruments, singing, do we?

So let this be your reminder: Humans do this. It’s part of what it means to be human.
