Happy Waltz Day!
/Happy National Waltz Day to those who celebrate, and that ought to be all of you. I take this opportunity once again to share with you some of the waltzes I have written throughout the years, and of course you have my permission to play them. Just let me know.

Let’s finish up with the third movement of my never-to-be-finished Symphony in G, a grand waltz in the sense of the Strauss family. Its subtitle was to have been “What it feels like,” and although I’m not going to talk about the programmatic basis for this music, I can say without reservation that this is what it felt like.
