Here’s a quickie MOMA page on the kindergarten art project papers of Hans Kappler. These are sheets for kindergartners to use to practice their scissor skills, based on the educational theories of Friedrich Fröbel, who gave us the whole concept of kindergarten in the first place.

The tidiness, the whole sleek 1920s look, was appealing to me. Perhaps something to STEAL FROM THE BEST?

In other ambient music news, it appears that Steve Roach is remastering and re-releasing his oeuvre on BandCamp. I own several of his CDs — because I’m old — so this move allows me to fill in some gaps in his discography.
