Shelf Space

How do other writers do it?

By the time I finished Lichtenbergianism: procrastination as a creative strategy, the shelves next to my desk looked like this:

These are books I pulled from the rest of my study, plus all the books I bought as I explored the world of the creative process. I must have had to clear/store/throw away stuff to get that shelf space, but I don't remember what or how.

Wish I did, because now I'm starting a new book on cocktails, and I have to find space for these:

WHERE ARE THE CREATIVITY BOOKS SUPPOSED TO GO??

Someone should write a book on tidying up, only without being a moralistic scold about it.
