Fun Friday Resources

It’s been a while — my last Fun Friday Resources post was in August, just before my amazing heart opportunity event, in fact, so let’s dive into some nice deep ends here.

First up, a great essay on Creative Commons licensing from author Cory Doctorow and how it does and doesn’t empower you to use certain resources, plus how it overlaps with regular copyright/fair use law.

This one was both pure fun and extremely interesting: “Why ‘What’s Opera, Doc?’ Looks Like That” goes into detail how one of WB’s most iconic cartoons got to be that way and how it almost didn’t.

I can’t really describe the jaw-dropping pack-rat-esque-ness of Messy Nessy’s Cabinet, so Imma just throw it out there. Jump in — there’s bound to be a rabbithole that grabs your attention somewhere.
