Fun Friday Resources

This week brings some audio fun places.

Over at the Library of Congress, we have the Citizen DJ Project, an enormous collection of public domain recordings for you to play with and remix. There is a guide for copyright, but all the recordings in the project are free for you to use.

Over at the Internet Archive, we find a stunning collection of sound effects from the TV industry in the 1960s. The downloads are huge, but you should find a lot to play with there.

(For more current SFX, check out freesound.org.)

Finally, for some extremely weird — and ultimately annoying — sound production, check out the Pink Trombone.
