Cras melior est

The following quote recently crossed my path:

"Isn't it nice to think that tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it yet?"  — L. M. Montgomery

Allow me to disabuse you immediately of the notion that this quote has anything to do with Lichtenbergianism. Yes, we're all about the procrastination and the tomorrow and the betterment of humankind thereby, but the idea that there are no mistakes in that bright shiny tomorrow is... well, a mistake.

The quote is from Anne of Green Gables and is therefore suspect as guidance anyway, but any creative person should look forward to making even more mistakes tomorrow than they did today — that's the true meaning of Cras melior est. Get out there and make all the ABORTIVE ATTEMPTS that you can; without them, you're not creating.
