Quick, a Fun Friday Resource

Before the week gets away from us here, let's revisit Europeana, which I have proffered before.

The collection is truly astounding: I searched 'monster' and got more than 14,000 results.  Just imagine the TASK AVOIDANCE I can do with that one!

And it occurs to me that Google's image search may have been left in the dust here.  It used to be quite spiffy, but my most recent searches have produced a lot of drek, and copyrighted drek at that.  Europeana's collection is more on target, so far, and so I think I'm going to have to retrain myself to use it for images first.

And look at their music/sound collection!
